What are Dermal Fillers?

As you age there is a a decline in the subcutaneous fat in the face. This can result in the reduction of volume and elasticity in the skin causing the face to appear gaunt and hollow. Dermal filler can be used to add volume and definition to areas such as lips and cheeks and to contour the chin and jawline, improving the profile.

Injectable Hyaluronic Acid is a type of temporary dermal filler. The body naturally produces Hyaluronic Acid and it is a key ingredient when it comes to reinforcing the skins health. Dermal filler is injected under the skin in the treatment area using a fine needle or cannula creating instant and visible results. All fillers used by Renew & Sculpt Aesthetics are of the highest quality available and CE marked meeting all safety standards. Filler injections are quick and simple and require minimum downtime.
